How to select the number of questions you want to answer
The control panel shown in Figure 3 contains a slider control that can be used to select the number of questions to be answered, based on the multiplier groups that are currently selected. For example, if only the 5 x Table multiplier group has been chosen, the slider bar can be set to a minimum of one, and a maximum of ten questions within in that group. If all ten multiplier groups have been chosen, as shown in Figure 3, the slider bar can be set to a minimum of one, or a maximum of one hundred questions within that group.
Choosing to answer 5 questions from the 5 x multiplier group while in numerical order mode would produce the questions 1×5 to 5×5 (i.e. 1 x 5 =, 2 x 5 =, 3 x 5 =, 4 x 5 =, 5 x 5 =). Choosing to answer 5 questions from the 5 x multiplier group, in random order mode would produce a random selection of times table questions (e.g. 8 x 5 =, 3 x 5 =, 7 x 5 =, 1 x 5 =, 9 x 5 =). The slider controller can be used to customise the learning process to the learning needs of each user.
